Discussion: The ethics is mainly set of a moral philosophy rules which helps in understanding, defending and to recommend the concept of right and wrong conduct which can be used in operating the business. Its rules and regulations can be utilized in the business to differentiate between the concept of morally wrong and right process (Crane Matten, 2016). The ethical theories are set of moral rules and principles on which defines what are the actions which are morally correct and which are action are morally wrong. There are various ethical theories like utilitarianism, deontology, virtue and contract which are various terms that define what is right and wrong in carrying out the operation of the business. The first principle utilitarianism is the best known and most applicable theory in the business sectors (Amine, Chakor Alaoui, 2012). Utilitarianism states that any actions can be judged as peoples are happy with that change then the action can be considered as morally right on the contrary if certain actions is bad and bring disaster in the society and people are not happy with that decision then that certain is morally wrong. The second principle of the ethical theory is the deontology. Deontology means duty thus this principle that the business must have the strict adherence to its moral duties which can help them to make correct choices and options. To make correct choices the businessmen must realize what are their moral duties and rules for their operations. The third principle of the ethical theory is the virtue. The virtue means the mindset (Wang Hsieh, 2012). This principle is not concerned with the moral rules or regulation but with the mindset or the individual character of the business men towards the ethical thinking rather moral rules and regulations. The fourth and the last ethics morals is the contract which is also known as the social contract theory. The social contract theory was adopted in the days when there was no democracy and political rules in the country. The group of people with their mutual understanding developed political and moral rules which they have to follow to live with peace and harmony in the society. The drawbacks of these principles above described are more of theoretical knowledge but little of practical knowledge. The self driving cars remote controlled cars in which the vehicles will move automatically bases on the artificial intelligence which will automatically take the customers to their destination. The self driving cars will imply that these vehicles will not require any drivers to move the car which means that over a million derivers jobs is at risk (LaFollette Persson, 2013). The company admits that due to lack of the idea it is not possible to design the self driven cars today the possibilities should not be overlooked. The company says that it is not one night work it will require a series of test driving and other applications to develop a safe mode of transportation for the people. The company has already started working on the project in the year 2015 the company has built an advanced technology center in Pittsburgh and in the span of 18 months it has launches its first driverless cars. Although various country like Australia, London, Germany and France has opposed the motive of the company as it will increase the unemployment the company has remained positive and hailed the work of its people and said that the project has the ability to create new and flexible jobs which can counter the unemployment (Zango-Pascual, 2016). The company has over 2 million drivers employing worldwide. The drivers in the company say the umber driving is just a part time job for them and they will be unaffected on loosing the job. The news article also gives an example of the Elija Herbst, a driver in the uber who says that he only uses the profession of driving as his part time job and the uber is not his last option (Goodall, 2016). The CEO of the company has admitted that the driverless car is still a t initial stage and has various limitations. The CEO believes that the people demand for the better transportation will help to realize their dream (Audi, 2012). The CEO gives an example of the ATM machine many believed that the introduction of ATM will enable various bankers to lose their jobs but on the contrary more branches were opened to employ more people. The second principle deontology which means the ethical duties of the company in the case of the Uber the company main goal is to make the transportation more comfortable for the people and with the concept of self driving cars, they seems to follow the deontology principle, though many country are criticizing the decision of the uber but on the long run they are making the travelling through taxis saf er and comfortable (Goodall, 2014). The third principle virtue seems to comply with the decisions of self driving vehicle. The CEO of the Uber gives the example of the ATM and how it has the increased the employment in the banking sector. Thus it is implied that the mindset of the CEO is to make the online transportation accessible to the people who is beneficial for the people.
